'Pentaport Rock Festival' Held After 3 Years... Attracts 130,000 Visitors
[Asia Economy Reporter Eunmo Koo] The 'Incheon Pentaport Rock Festival' (Pentaport), held in person for the first time in three years, attracted 130,000 attendees over three days.
According to Incheon City on the 7th, Pentaport, held in Songdo International City, Incheon, from the 5th to the 7th, drew 35,000 people on the first day, 50,000 on the second day, and 45,000 on the third day, totaling 130,000 attendees, marking the highest attendance in the history of Pentaport.
This festival featured over 50 teams of top domestic and international artists and bands, including Crying Nut, Sunwoo Jung-a, Lee Mujin, Jeokjae, Nell, Jannabi, Crackshot, and Vampire Weekend. The final stage performance was by Jaurim, celebrating their 25th anniversary since debut.

Pentaport was held online for two consecutive years in 2020 and 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but this year it returned as an in-person festival after three years. Despite the decline and difficulties in the domestic rock music market, Pentaport has established itself as a representative metropolitan area music festival for 17 years.
