View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Minwoo Lee] Shinhan Financial Group has launched a second self-governing organization composed of employees in their 20s and 30s to foster more creative exchanges of ideas and cultivate a free culture.
On the 7th, Shinhan Financial Group announced that on the 5th, it held the inauguration ceremony for the 2nd term of the ‘Who-riend Committee,’ which operates as part of the 'RE:BOOT Shinhan' project aimed at reinventing the corporate culture, at its headquarters in Jung-gu, Seoul.
The ‘Who-riend Committee’ is a self-governing organization consisting of about 10 employees in their 20s and 30s within the holding company. They are responsible for discovering and exploring tasks and methods to improve organizational culture through creative ideas unique to the MZ (Millennial + Z) generation and active communication.
The first term of the ‘Who-riend Committee,’ launched in August last year, proposed initiatives such as simplifying the position system and allowing free use of titles, wearing casual attire appropriate to T.P.O (Time, Place, Occasion), and introducing a self-approval process for taking leave during their one-year activity period.
