Self-Directed Career Planning ... Busan Office of Education Operates 'Global Dream Growth Career Camp'
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] The Busan Metropolitan Office of Education will operate the '2022 Global Dream Nurturing Career Camp' for two days starting from the 9th at the Future Hall of Pukyong National University.
The program targets 40 students in grades 5 to 6 of elementary schools and grades 1 to 3 of middle schools within the district.
The camp is designed for multicultural and non-multicultural students to participate together, aiming to develop students' global citizenship competencies and self-directed career planning skills.
On the first day of the camp, programs such as the 'Paper Roller Coaster Competition,' which teaches methods of communication and respect, 'Speech Coaching' to enhance confidence, and experiences with autonomous driving and VR will be conducted.
On the second day, programs include 'Career Choice Activities' where students explore their aptitudes and interests, 'Dream Cake Making' to create an action plan to achieve their dreams, and 'Emotional Newspaper Activities' to understand cognitive and emotional characteristics as global citizens.
