77th Anniversary of Liberation, 'Gyeonggi-do Anti-Japanese Independence Movement History' Exhibition Held
8.8~9.7 Exhibition of Over 100 Anti-Japanese Independence Movement Works at Gyeonggi Millennium Road Gallery
[Asia Economy Reporter Ra Young-cheol] To commemorate the 77th anniversary of the August 15 Liberation Day, Gyeonggi Province, together with the Gyeonggi Cultural Foundation and Gyeonggi Provincial Museum, will hold an exhibition titled "Walking+Meeting, Independence Movement Sites and Figures of Gyeonggi Province" from the 8th of this month to the 7th of next month at the Gyeonggi Peace Plaza, Gyeonggi Millennium Road Gallery in the Northern Office Building of the Gyeonggi Provincial Government.
The exhibition is divided into three parts: "Patriots Who Fought to the Death," "The March 1st Independence Movement and the Jeam-ri Massacre," and "Honoring the Independence Activists of Gyeonggi Province."
More than 100 items including prints, photographs, newspapers, postcards, books, and videos related to anti-Japanese independence movement sites and activists in Gyeonggi Province will be displayed, along with about 20 artifacts from the Japanese colonial period.
To help visitors better understand the exhibits, explanations will be provided through the smartphone docent app "Qpicker."

The exhibition will be open every day from Monday to Sunday, except for the closing day on September 4, and admission is free for everyone.
