‘New Normal Era, Talking About Counseling’ … Korean Counseling Association Annual Conference Held at Dongmyeong University

View original image[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] The Korean Counseling Association will hold the "2022 Annual Academic Conference" under the theme "Talking about Counseling in the New Normal Era" from the 4th to the 11th.
The academic conference will begin with an opening ceremony on the 4th at the main auditorium of Dongmyung University Central Library and will be conducted in a hybrid format of online and offline.
More than 2,000 counselors are expected to attend the annual academic conference held both online and offline due to the spread of COVID-19.
On the 4th, keynote lectures will be presented including ▲ Professor Kim Sang-gyun of Kyung Hee University’s "Talking about Counseling in the New Normal Era" ▲ Moon Jin-myung, Planning Team Leader of SK Telecom Metaverse, "Science and Technology in the New Normal Era from the Perspective of Industry" ▲ Professor Kim In-gyu of Jeonju University’s "Counseling and the Role of Counselors in the New Normal Era" ▲ Jo Su-yeon, CEO of Hosidam Psychological Counseling Center’s "Current Status and Challenges of Non-face-to-face Counseling."
During the planned symposium held online until the 11th, topics such as ▲ Actual Practice of Metaverse Counseling ▲ Development and Application of Non-face-to-face Counseling Models ▲ Actual Practice of Counseling on Non-face-to-face Platforms ▲ Progress in Promoting Counseling Legislation and Research Presentations will be conducted.
Special programs will include ▲ Talk Concerts with Group Counselors ▲ Planned Workshops and General Workshops ▲ Presentations of Outstanding Papers, Oral Papers, and Poster Papers.
