Formation and Operation of Emergency Disaster Relief Fund TF Team
[Asia Economy Reporter Ra Young-cheol] Wonju City, Gangwon Province, announced on the 2nd that it will provide emergency disaster relief funds of 100,000 KRW per person to citizens struggling due to COVID-19 and rising prices.
This emergency disaster relief fund payment is a pledge of Mayor Won Kang-su of the 8th civil election term, and the city has formed a dedicated TF team aiming to distribute the funds in October.
The emergency disaster relief fund TF team is composed of 11 members in 2 teams, led by Vice Mayor Jo Jong-yong.
The support funds will be provided through mobile local love gift certificates, credit/debit card points, and prepaid cards, and to revitalize the local economy, the usage period will be set so that the funds can only be used within the Wonju area.
