Jeju Fire Headquarters Establishes KakaoTalk Chatbot Civil Complaint System
[Jeju=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Jeongpil] The Jeju Special Self-Governing Province Fire Safety Headquarters (Chief Park Geun-o) has established a KakaoTalk chatbot civil complaint system capable of 24-hour customer response and is actively providing the service.
According to the Jeju Fire Headquarters on the 1st, a chatbot is a compound word of chatting and robot, and it is an interactive messenger service that allows users to receive information and services in real time regardless of time and place without going through a counselor.
The Jeju Fire chatbot civil complaint service can be easily used without a separate app installation by scanning the chatbot connection QR code with a smartphone camera to access the corresponding link, or by searching for Jeju Fire Safety Headquarters on KakaoTalk and registering the channel as a friend without any approval process.
The newly established system provides a total of 96 answer pieces of information, including repetitive inquiries and fire safety information, through prior consultation with each department, and answers are provided through a two-track method such as item selection or keyword/descriptive conversation.
In particular, it is possible to process natural language using artificial intelligence (AI), so even if questions are asked conversationally, the most relevant answer information can be received. In the future, the chatbot system will be regularly improved by reflecting amendments and additions to fire-related laws and regulations and adding answer information.
Park Geun-o, Chief of the Fire Safety Headquarters, said, “We will further strengthen data management to improve the accuracy of various fire-related information provided through the chatbot civil complaint service,” and added, “We will actively promote the service so that residents can use it easily and conveniently without restrictions on time and place.”
