Jo Il-rae, a credit management specialist at the Korea Development Bank, will be dispatched to Changwon City starting from the 1st to begin work as the Nuclear Power Finance Policy Officer.

On July 13th, the city signed a business agreement with the Korea Development Bank to jointly promote strengthening the competitiveness of the nuclear power industry ecosystem, establishing a permanent cooperation channel through the dispatch of bank specialists.
Accordingly, Officer Jo will cooperate for one year to restore and normalize the nuclear power industry ecosystem in Changwon City at an early stage.
In particular, he will support financial assistance and advisory services for nuclear power companies, promote projects utilizing industrial policy fund development, and provide consulting on projects related to fostering the city's nuclear power industry. Additionally, he will facilitate communication between Changwon City and the Korea Development Bank and serve as a financial advisor on current projects.
It is expected that he will play an important role in securing financial response capabilities to the financial difficulties of nuclear power companies, such as fundraising, and in early restoration of the nuclear power industry ecosystem by strengthening corporate competitiveness through financial expert consulting.

Officer Jo is from Gyeongnam and joined the Korea Development Bank in 1991. He has worked in the Growth Finance Department, Corporate Restructuring Division 1, as branch manager of the Masan branch, Financial Planning Department, and has served as a credit supervision specialist in the Credit Supervision Department.
