View original image[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Song Jong-gu] Amid the heatwave with maximum temperatures exceeding 30 degrees Celsius, the Korea Naval Academy in Jinhae, Gyeongnam, is conducting combat swimming training for all cadet classes from the 23rd to the 28th. The training takes place at the maritime training ground in front of the academy and the indoor swimming pool (Jehaegwan).
The academy is conducting intensive training underwater for more than six hours daily. To ensure safety and achieve training goals, cadets are divided into four levels based on individual swimming abilities, and customized training is provided accordingly.
