'Controversy over Private Recruitment' Presidential Office Grade 9 Administrative Officer Woo Mo Resigns

According to the Presidential Office, Grade 9 administrative officer Woo recently submitted his resignation and was dismissed the day before. Woo's father operated a business in Gangneung and is known to be a longtime acquaintance of President Yoon Seok-yeol.
Controversy arose as it was revealed that Kwon Seong-dong, acting leader of the People Power Party and floor leader, had recommended Woo during the Presidential Office recruitment process, and that Woo had donated 10 million won to President Yoon during the presidential election period.
Additionally, it was further revealed that Woo's father was an election commissioner in Gangneung City, Kwon's electoral district, sparking concerns of a conflict of interest among some.
