Standard Association signs MOU with Korea Element Alliance to establish quality standards for urea solution

View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] The Korea Standards Association (President Kang Myung-soo) announced on the 27th that it has signed a business agreement with the Korea Urea Alliance (President Na Seong-beom) to establish a high-quality domestic urea solution market.
This business agreement was promoted to enhance the capabilities of domestic companies in preparation for a second urea solution crisis due to supply chain issues, along with the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy's project to develop, distribute, and expand the domestic urea solution product certification system.
Bae Yi-yeol, Director of Management Quality at the Korea Standards Association, said, "We will support all urea solution manufacturers in securing the capability to provide high-quality products by resolving supply chain difficulties from the procurement perspective and establishing a product certification system suitable for domestic conditions."

Na Seong-beom, President of the Korea Urea Alliance, emphasized, "With the increase in domestic cargo volume, the frequency of freight vehicle movements is continuously rising," adding, "The continuous demand for urea solution for diesel engine vehicles such as freight trucks and heavy equipment, as well as market changes including future Euro 7 emission regulations and the expansion of the electric vehicle market, require the industry to prepare accordingly."
