Dong-Eui University fielded players in the men's team event: -66kg Kim Min-cheol, -73kg Jeon Je-yong, -81kg Lee Da-woon, -90kg Yoon Seok-il, -100kg Lee Seung-yeon, and +100kg Kim Hyun-tae. They defeated Kyunggi University 4-3 in the quarterfinals, beat Yeungnam University 4-2 in the semifinals, and advanced to the finals.
In the finals against Sehan University, except for one match forfeited due to the absence of a weight class player, all participating players won, securing the championship with a final score of 4-1.
In the individual events, Yoon Seok-il placed second in the -90kg category, and Kim Hyun-tae and Kim Min-woo both placed third in the +100kg category.
