Hanwha Resort Seorak Sorano Introduces Digital Concierge for "Contactless Checkout"
Smart Hotel Platform 'DoWhat' and Digital-Based Service Environment Setup
Service Available via Hanwha Resort Mobile App and In-Room Tablet PC
[Asia Economy Reporter Yuri Kim] Hanwha Hotels & Resorts announced on the 25th that Hanwha Resort Seorak Sorano, operated by the company, will introduce a digital concierge in response to the contactless trend and enhance the quality of customer service.
Hanwha Hotels & Resorts stated that it has partnered with the smart hotel integrated platform DoWhat to introduce a digital concierge at Hanwha Resort Seorak Sorano. Going forward, contactless self-checkout will be possible through the Hanwha Resort mobile application (app) and tablet PCs provided in the rooms. Requests for supplies such as towels and amenities, as well as room service, can also be made. Foreign customer service will be supported through integration with a 5-language translation artificial intelligence (AI) service. The system also includes functions for introducing nearby tourist attractions and guiding resort facilities. Additionally, LG CLOi guide robots and delivery robots have been introduced to provide guests with a contactless concierge experience. Check-in via the mobile app is expected to be completed within this year.
To commemorate the opening of the digital concierge, Hanwha Resort Seorak Sorano has prepared an Instagram certification photo event. Until August 7, uploading a certification photo of the tablet PC provided in the room along with designated hashtags on Instagram will enter participants into a draw to receive prizes. Prizes include a weekday one-night stay voucher at Hanwha Resort Seorak Sorano and free admission tickets to Seorak Waterpia. Detailed information is available on the official website.
