Figure Skating Queen Kim Yuna to Marry Opera Singer Go Urim in October

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heeyoon] 'Figure Skating Queen' Kim Yuna (32) is getting married this October.
Kim Yuna's agency All That Sports announced on the 25th, "Kim Yuna will tie the knot with opera singer Go Woo-rim (27) at a location in Seoul in late October."
Kim Yuna's fianc?, Go Woo-rim, is an opera singer who graduated from Seoul National University's vocal music department and is known as a member of the male crossover group Forestella. Previously, Go Woo-rim appeared on the audition program Phantom Singer Season 2, winning the competition, and is currently active as a member of Forestella.
It is known that Kim Yuna and Go Woo-rim first met when Forestella was invited as performers at the 2018 All That Skate ice show. After three years of dating, the couple is now set to wed.
All That Sports explained, "Both Kim Yuna and Go Woo-rim wish to hold a simple wedding ceremony with close relatives and acquaintances, so the specific wedding date and venue have not been disclosed and the event will be held privately without media coverage," adding, "We ask for the understanding of fans and related media."
Kim Yuna is the first Korean figure skater to win a gold medal, setting a world record with a score of 228.56 at the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics. Since then, she has been beloved by the public and is the first athlete to achieve a Grand Slam in the women's singles figure skating category.

Go Woo-rim, who graduated from Seoul National University's vocal music department and is currently attending graduate school there, won JTBC's audition program 'Phantom Singer Season 2' in 2017 and is active as a member of the group Forestella. He has gained steady popularity through appearances on shows such as 'Open Concert' and 'King of Mask Singer.'
