Mobile Early Dementia Screening and Healthy Summer Meal Service Provided
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] The Goseel Village Humansia 8 Complex in Gwangsan-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City is attracting attention by implementing various programs for senior citizens at the community center.
The recent on-site early dementia screening conducted at the community center received great response.
This program was carried out in cooperation with the Gwangsan-gu Dementia Safety Center and targeted seniors aged 60 and above.
It was promoted to provide screening services to seniors who have difficulty visiting health centers due to mobility issues or cognitive decline, aiming to detect dementia patients early and prevent the progression of dementia.
Additionally, together with the Suwan-dong Saemaeul Women's Association, lunch was served to help seniors have a healthy summer.
In collaboration with the Suwan-dong village volunteer group, a heartfelt meal was prepared featuring nutritious abalone porridge and delicious side dishes made with colorful vegetables.
