Children Exhausted by COVID Brighten Up... Outdoor Water Playground Opens at Yeongyang Seonbawi Tourist Site
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Gwiyeol] Yeongyang-gun, Gyeongbuk, will open an outdoor water playground at Seonbawi Tourist Site on the 23rd. The facility will be open for 16 days until August 7.
The operation of this water playground, hosted by the Yeongyang-gun Sports Council and sponsored by Yeongyang-gun, was planned to revitalize children exhausted by COVID-19. It is equipped not only with a simple water playground but also various play facilities such as water slides and air bounces.
In cooperation with the fire station, various programs such as CPR training and spraying water with fire truck hoses will be conducted during the operation period.
The operating hours are divided into 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, and 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM. Unlike last year, not only Yeongyang residents but also tourists visiting Yeongyang can enter.
A Sports Council official said, “Although it is insufficient, we have prepared various and fun activities as it is operated for the residents whose bodies and minds are exhausted due to COVID-19.”
