Starting next month, in Vietnam, if caught dumping trash or wastewater on the streets or into sewers, a fine of up to 2 million VND (approximately 110,000 KRW) will be imposed as regulations against illegal dumping are strengthened.

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Jung-wan] The Vietnamese government has stepped up enforcement measures, including imposing fines, to prevent illegal dumping of waste.
According to local media VN Express on the 21st, starting next month, Vietnamese authorities will impose fines of up to 2 million dong (approximately 110,000 KRW) for those caught dumping garbage or wastewater on roadsides or in drainage systems.
Those who dispose of plastic waste in lakes, rivers, or the sea will face the same amount in fines, and if caught dumping garbage or wastewater in shopping malls or apartments, they will be fined up to 1 million dong.
Additionally, discarding cigarette butts in public places will result in fines of up to 150,000 dong. Transporting construction sand or soil without proper packaging will incur fines up to 4 million dong.
Violating household waste separation guidelines will result in a fine of 1 million dong.
Since January this year, Vietnam has required households to separate recyclable waste.
