30th Buddhist Media Culture Awards Call for Entries... Submissions Accepted Until Next Month 25
[Asia Economy Reporter Seomideum] The Jogye Order of Korean Buddhism Headquarters is announcing the call for entries for the 30th Buddhist Media Culture Awards.
The Jogye Order Headquarters annually selects and awards outstanding content and exemplary figures in the media industry through a competition in fields such as broadcasting (TV/radio), newspapers, and new media.
This year, submissions will be accepted from the 25th of this month until the 25th of next month. Eligible works must incorporate Buddhist perspectives (such as dependent origination, the Middle Way, compassion, life, peace, equality, etc.). Only works produced between September 9 of last year and August 24 of this year are eligible to apply.
The grand prize winner will receive a plaque and a cash prize of 10 million KRW. The Excellence Award, Merit Award, Special Award, and Buddhist Journalist Award will also be given plaques and a designated cash prize.
