Wando County Governor Shin Woo-cheol's Communication with Residents through the 'Future Vision Residents Report Meeting'

View original image[Wando=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Kyung-pil] Shin Woo-cheol, the governor of Wando-gun, Jeollanam-do, announced on the 20th that he will hold the "Future Vision Citizen Report Meeting" to strengthen communication with citizens and inspect the field of public livelihood during the 8th term of the elected government.
The "Future Vision Citizen Report Meeting" was prepared to explain the policies to be promoted in the 8th term of the elected government to the citizens and to gather various opinions from the citizens to seek ways for regional development.
This report meeting will start in Gogeum-myeon on July 19, continue in Yaksan-myeon on the 20th, and in August, it will tour all 12 eup and myeon including Saengil, Geumdang, Nohwa, and Bogil, continuing the communication with the citizens.
On the 19th in Gogeum-myeon, to realize the "Era of Citizen Happiness Overflowing with Hope," explanations were given on three development strategies?regional, welfare, and future development?and nine core tasks, and discussions about the development direction of Gogeum-myeon were held with the residents.
After the report meeting, visits were made to agricultural, fishery, and livestock farms and public livelihood sites suffering from continuous heatwaves and droughts to listen to the residents' difficulties.
Governor Shin Woo-cheol said, "The 8th term of the elected government is an important time to promptly resolve various pending projects that were difficult to promote during the 6th and 7th terms and to accelerate the development of Wando," adding, "We will listen to even the smallest voices of the citizens as a great resonance and strive to reflect their suggestions in the county administration to improve the quality of life."
