Chungnam, Safety Inspection of Inland Water Leisure Business Sites
[Asia Economy (Hongseong) Reporter Jeong Il-woong] Chungnam Province announced on the 19th that it will form a joint inspection team with the Coast Guard to conduct safety inspections of inland water leisure business sites within the jurisdiction until the end of this month.
The safety inspection targets are nine business sites operating water leisure activities on rivers and reservoirs in the Cheonan, Asan, Nonsan, Buyeo, Geumsan, and Cheongyang areas.
The joint inspection team will focus on checking ▲compliance with water leisure business registration standards ▲suitability of water leisure equipment safety ▲appropriateness of facilities and equipment at the business sites ▲compliance with safety measures ▲securing lifeguards and adherence to deployment standards ▲compliance with restrictions on activities such as alcohol sales on equipment.
Following the inspection, any issues that can be corrected on-site will be immediately addressed, and urgent safety hazards such as structural problems will be continuously monitored and managed through administrative orders and reporting of corrective actions.
