Umbrella Protecting Children's Safety! ... BNK Busan Bank Supports Children's Traffic 'Safety Umbrella'
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] BNK Busan Bank held a 'Safety Umbrella' delivery ceremony on the afternoon of the 18th to promote children's traffic safety.
The ceremony was attended by Busan Bank President An Gam-chan, Busan Metropolitan Office of Education Superintendent Ha Yoon-su, and Busan Community Chest of Korea Chairman Choi Geum-sik, among others.
The 'Safety Umbrella' will be distributed to approximately 26,000 first-grade elementary school students in the Busan area through the Busan Community Chest of Korea.
The 'Safety Umbrella,' made of a transparent material on three sides so pedestrians can be seen by vehicles during rain, features a red color and reflective stripes to help drivers recognize pedestrians from a distance for safer driving.
Busan Bank President An Gam-chan said, "I hope this will help children, who can suffer great harm even from minor accidents, walk safely. We will continue to develop various social contribution projects to ensure children grow up safely and healthily."
Since 2018, Busan Bank has been conducting various social contribution projects for children's traffic safety, including backpack safety covers and safety yellow cards.
