Released through the Doosan Bobcat website, this report is characterized as the nation's first "moving report" applying multimedia storytelling methods. It allows users to navigate to desired sections with a single click through an "interactive PDF," and offers easier and more intuitive access to the report via videos, infographics, and animation effects.
This report focuses on Doosan Bobcat's ESG vision and framework, emphasizing efforts and achievements in four core areas (People, Products and Services, Environment, Community) and three fundamental pillars (Governance, Value Chain, Risk Management). Additionally, it discloses information on climate change response and health and safety from the perspective of financial impact, in accordance with the U.S. Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB) standards.
Doosan Bobcat continuously strives to maximize energy efficiency and reduce environmental impact. As a result, last year, energy consumption per unit of production decreased by 15% compared to the previous year, and greenhouse gas emissions were reduced by 17%. Sales of "remanufactured" products, which recycle used parts, increased by 61%.
Moreover, the T7X, the world's first "All-Electric" construction equipment developed by Doosan Bobcat, is a representative eco-friendly product that maximizes energy efficiency while producing zero harmful emissions and reducing noise and vibration.
Scott Sungchul Park, President of Doosan Bobcat, stated, "Doosan Bobcat will prioritize ESG in business growth," adding, "We will continuously lead sustainable change and growth through innovative thinking and responsible responses."
