Considering that Dochodo Island is located 54.5 km from Mokpo and has a population of about 3,000, the festival achieved the result of attracting more than ten times the population in visitors during the festival period.
Currently, pruning work on the wooden hydrangeas is underway for the Island Autumn Hydrangea Festival, and preparations are in full swing to showcase the splendid wooden hydrangeas during the festival.
Additionally, a pampas grass theme park has been created around Hydrangea Park, expected to provide another attraction in the autumn season.
