On the 12th, the Gwangjin Police Station in Seoul announced that they had apprehended a woman in her 30s, identified as A, on charges of special assault and sent her to the prosecution in custody that morning.
A is accused of swinging a knife at a middle school student walking on a road in Junggok-dong, Gwangjin-gu, Seoul, around 5:30 PM on the 8th, injuring the student's arm. The middle school student suffered a wound about 10 cm long from the stabbing, causing severe bleeding, but fortunately, there was no life-threatening condition.
