Although the man was in a state of exhaustion, he was immediately transported to a nearby hospital and received treatment, and it was reported that his life was not in danger.
According to the Busan Metropolitan Police Agency and the Busan Fire and Disaster Headquarters, Mr. A, a man in his 60s suffering from a stroke, left his home around 6 p.m. on the 10th saying he was going to collect medicinal herbs but did not return. Later, his family reported him missing as they could not contact him.
The police and the Busan Fire and Disaster Headquarters conducted a first joint search on the morning of the 11th in the area of Gijang-eup, Gijang-gun, Busan, but were unable to find Mr. A.
A second joint search was conducted around 2:30 p.m., and CCTV footage showing Mr. A moving behind an apartment complex on a hill in Gijang-gun was confirmed.
Later, around 4:30 p.m., the search and rescue dog 'Chungseong' deployed to the scene found Mr. A near a mountain shack.
