DL E&C Launches 'D.VIEW' Virtual Reality Move-in Support Service
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Min-young] DL E&C announced on the 11th that it has launched ‘D.VIEW,’ a move-in support service for apartment complexes.
D.VIEW recreates the interiors of completed units on a 360-degree virtual reality (VR) platform, providing customers with various information and services at each stage of moving in. DL E&C is selectively offering the D.VIEW service starting with apartments moving in from June this year and plans to gradually expand its application scope.
D.VIEW is designed so that customers preparing to move in can easily tour their homes anytime and anywhere and find various information about their homes. DL E&C filmed the interiors of completed apartment units by type using 360-degree cameras and recreated them in virtual reality. Customers can conveniently use various functions and services from pre-inspection to moving and post-move-in stages.
When customers reach the pre-inspection stage, they can view the exact unit of their home anytime and anywhere through D.VIEW. Detailed information such as lighting and outlet locations, which were difficult to grasp from traditional floor plans, can be visually confirmed. Customers can also check the internal configuration of storage cabinets or pantries, and by using the measurement mode, they can measure the length, height, and depth of desired areas, which is useful for interior design or furniture arrangement. D.VIEW can also be utilized for lease or sale transactions.
