Establishment of Business Promotion Strategy for Innovative Growth in the Content Industry by December
The Korea Creative Content Agency (KOCCA) announced on the 11th that it will operate a dedicated Innovation Promotion Task Force (Innovation Promotion TF). This newly established organization aims to proactively respond to internal and external demands for institutional innovation. By December, it will formulate strategies to promote projects for the innovative growth of the content industry. Cho Hyun-rae, the head of KOCCA, stated, "We will take the lead in rigorous public institution innovation to meet the demands of the new government and the public," adding, "We will further enhance our internal capabilities and contribute to the innovative growth of the content industry with a humble attitude that respects the public and the industry."

Business innovation will focus on improving the productivity and economic efficiency of KOCCA's projects. The agency plans to discover and strengthen projects that can achieve clear and high performance, and reorganize mid- to long-term business strategies to support social and economic contributions and the innovative growth of the industry. KOCCA is currently operating 178 projects with a budget of 547.1 billion won this year. A KOCCA official commented on organizational innovation, saying, "We plan to establish a performance-oriented institutional operation system to maximize efficiency and productivity in the public sector," and added, "We will strive to strengthen organizational capabilities through establishing a collaborative organizational culture." Regarding institutional innovation, the official said, "We will simultaneously promote improvements in work methods and regulatory reforms in the content sector," and "We will actively consider institutional improvements that lower the barriers to support projects and guarantee fair opportunities for advancement to youth and others."
