Network of 100 Transportation, Logistics, and Art Companies in the US and Latin America Activated
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-woo] Busan City is targeting the Latin American region by leveraging prominent American private cultural and economic figures to attract the 2030 Busan World Expo.
Busan City appointed Moishe Mana, chairman of the MANA Group, as the honorary ambassador for the Expo.
On the 9th, an honorary ambassador appointment ceremony was held with about 20 attendees, including Chairman Moishe Mana, Mana Korea CEO Lim Kwon, group officials, and Busan city officials.
The MANA Group is a U.S. private group overseeing about 100 companies related to transportation, logistics, warehousing, art, fashion, entertainment, urban regeneration, real estate development, and management. Based in Miami, the hub of trade between the U.S. and Latin America, it actively exchanges with the Latin American region.
Moishe Mana, chairman of the MANA Group, is promoting an "innovative business" that enables local communities to develop together based on art and culture by building new local communities centered on art culture in low-income areas of New Jersey, Chicago, and Miami, attracting educational institutions, and supporting startup activation programs to transform low-income areas.
The city plans to accelerate promotion for attracting the 2030 Busan World Expo to BIE (Bureau International des Expositions) member countries in South America by appointing Moishe Mana as an ambassador.
Various projects will be carried out with the MANA Group, including Expo-related conferences and exchanges between Busan and Latin American companies.
The trade volume passing through Miami, the central city of Florida, USA, to Latin America reaches $72 billion annually. Miami International Airport, the gateway to Latin America and the entry point from Latin America to the U.S., is the primary stopover for South Americans dreaming of the American Dream and naturally serves as a transit hub between Europe and Latin America.
