Mu-hyup-SK Ecoplant, 'Eco-friendly Innovation Technology Contest'... 3 Startups Selected
Selected startups receive technology verification opportunities and up to 100 million KRW in commercialization funding matching
[Asia Economy Reporter Sunmi Park] The Korea International Trade Association and SK Ecoplant announced on the 6th that they held the final presentation of the ‘2022 Tech Open Collaboration’ to discover innovative companies in the eco-friendly and energy sectors.
The startups that reached the final presentation include ▲WithMTech (resource circulation eco cement), ▲GritC (eco-friendly brick technology), ▲Sentinel Innovation (eco-friendly water treatment solutions), ▲Eva (power-sharing smart electric vehicle charging), ▲IntegradianC (smart exterior material equipment convergence technology), ▲Sebasa (building surplus power control and expandable electric vehicle charging system), ▲Zerosys (blue hydrogen-based methanol synthesis technology), ▲IonEarth (electric vehicle battery-based mobile energy storage system (ESS)), and ▲NBU (microwave plasma technology-based blue hydrogen production), totaling nine companies.
The three companies selected through the presentation will not only have opportunities for joint research and development and on-site technology verification (PoC) with SK Ecoplant but also receive up to 100 million KRW in PoC funds and up to 300 million KRW in research and development (R&D) funds per team from the Korea Institute of Startup & Entrepreneurship Development. The Trade Association will support education, consulting, and funding linkage with partner organizations.
