Korea University Medical Center Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundation and Novotech Sign Clinical Trial Collaboration Agreement

View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Young-won] Korea University Medical Center Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundation has joined hands with Novotech, a specialized clinical research organization (CRO) in the Asia-Pacific region, for clinical trials.
On the 6th, Korea University Medical Center announced that the two organizations held a business agreement ceremony at Korea University Mediscience Park on the 28th of last month and agreed to establish a cooperative relationship for clinical trials.
The event was attended by Ham Byung-joo, head of the Korea University Medical Center Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundation, Kim Tae-hoon, deputy director, Park Il-ho, head of the Clinical Research Support Headquarters, and Novotech officials including Kim Yoon-yi, President of Novotech Asia.
According to Korea University Medical Center, this agreement aims to strengthen the global competitiveness of domestic clinical trials by developing the pharmaceutical and medical device industries and establishing a mutually organic cooperation system between Korea University Medical Center and Novotech.
Ham Byung-joo, head of the Korea University Medical Center Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundation, stated, "Through this agreement, we hope to solidify the mutual cooperation system between the two organizations, continue a progressive relationship, and serve as a starting point for activating global clinical trials and advancing the domestic pharmaceutical and bio industries."
