At the tournament held from June 17 to 23 in Pyeongchang, Gangwon Province, Yeungnam University swept a total of 10 medals, including the overall team championship, 1 gold medal, 4 silver medals, and 5 bronze medals in individual events.
In the individual events, Nam Dae-hyun (4th year, Department of Physical Education, 74kg) won the gold medal, while Hwang Dong-jin (1st year, Department of Physical Education, 74kg), Park Yong-min (4th year, Department of Physical Education, 86kg), Jang Dong-hyeok (3rd year, Department of Physical Education, 92kg), and Jo Jong-o (2nd year, Department of Special Physical Education, 125kg) won silver medals. Lee Hyuk-cheol (2nd year, Department of Special Physical Education, 57kg), Shin Chae-hwan (1st year, Department of Physical Education, 57kg), Jang Hyun-woo (4th year, Department of Physical Education, 70kg), Kim Seong-hoon (3rd year, Department of Special Physical Education, 92kg), and Ha Yun-ho (1st year, Department of Special Physical Education, 125kg) each earned bronze medals.
