The county originally planned to reduce agricultural machinery rental fees until June this year, but decided to extend the 50% discount policy until December to help farmers struggling due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic.
Since March 19, 2020, when COVID-19 began to spread, Cheongsong-gun has implemented a 50% discount on rental fees for 28 months, providing significant assistance to farming households.
The agricultural machinery rental fee discount applies to all 691 types of machinery rented from the three local agricultural machinery rental centers (head office, Nambu, Jinbo) and also applies to long-term rentals.
