Gyeongju Solgeo Art Museum Operates 'Educational Program' for Local Artists
Providing Career Experience Education Opportunities for Students in Culture and Arts
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yeo Jong-gu] The Solgeo Art Museum at Gyeongju Expo Park is operating a social contribution program called ‘Local Grassroots Artist Education’ for aspiring artists.
Through this program, Solgeo Art Museum plans to nurture the dreams of visual artists in the Gyeongbuk region and provide free support for students' cultural arts-related career and experiential education.
The ‘Local Grassroots Artist Education’ program is scheduled to be operated continuously from next month and will be divided into exhibition interpretation programs and education programs.
The participants are high school art major and club students in the Gyeongbuk area who wish to enter art colleges.
The exhibition interpretation program, ‘Listen to the Art Museum,’ is a docent program currently conducted by professional educators at Solgeo Art Museum.
The education program, ‘Dreaming Art Museum,’ is conducted by museum curators in the museum archive room and Solgeo Academy.
Student clubs or schools wishing to participate in the program can download the application form from the resource room on the Solgeo Art Museum website and submit it via email.
