Marking its 10th anniversary this year, the Gyeongnam Tourism Expo is an event hosted by Gyeongnam Province, where information on tourism, history, culture, education, festivals, accommodation, transportation, souvenirs, sports tourism, and safety is provided at each booth.
The expo will be held at the Changwon Convention Center (CECO) Exhibition Halls 2 and 3 in Seongsan-gu, Changwon City, and admission is free.
The Changwon Coast Guard is participating in the expo to prevent coastal safety accidents and to widely promote maritime safety culture.
At the Coast Guard booth, visitors will have the opportunity to experience various safety measures, including how to wear life jackets, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), water play safety rules, escape methods from vehicles fallen into the sea, and marine accident response techniques using an actual life raft.
