[Asia Economy Reporter Heo Kyung-jun] A shooting incident occurred near a nightclub in a busy area of Oslo, the capital of Norway, resulting in 2 deaths and at least 21 injuries, Reuters and AFP reported on the 25th (local time).
According to reports, around 1 a.m. that day, a man opened fire at three locations including outside the famous nightclub and gay bar 'London Pub' in downtown Oslo. As a result, 2 people died and 21 were injured. Among the injured, 10 are in serious condition.
The police arrested one suspect near the club, who is believed to have acted alone. Local police stated in a press release, "We are investigating this incident as a terrorist attack."
