Samsung Heavy Industries announced that it had secured an order for 12 liquefied natural gas (LNG) carriers worth 3.3 trillion KRW from a Bermuda-based shipowner on the same day. Additionally, it secured an extra order for 2 LNG carriers worth 550 billion KRW from an African shipowner, achieving a total order value of 3.9 trillion KRW in one day. This amount corresponds to 59% of Samsung Heavy Industries' total sales last year.
