[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Cheol-young] From July to September, any elderly person having difficulty using a smartphone can apply for one-on-one free smartphone education through the Eodinajiwondan Call Center.
According to Seoul City on the 22nd, the education locations are learning centers in each district such as Eunpyeong-gu Seoul Innovation Park, Eunpyeong Comprehensive Home Care Center, Nowon-gu Sanggye Central Market, and Gwanak-gu Shinhan Bank Digital Lounge, and these will be further expanded in the future.
Seoul Digital Foundation, which operates Eodinajiwondan, Seoul City's representative senior education project, has expanded education centers for elderly people with mobility difficulties and opened the ‘Eodinajiwondan Call Center’ on the 20th, allowing easy application from home.
Any Seoul citizen aged 55 or older who wishes to receive smartphone education can apply by calling the Eodinajiwondan Call Center, where they can also receive detailed consultation about education time, location, and content.
The Eodinajiwondan education is a one-on-one tutoring method where instructors answer the questions of the elderly, resulting in high satisfaction among learners. The same content is repeated multiple times, making the educational effect significantly higher than lecture-style classes.
