Gwangju Urban Railway Corporation 'AI Singabot' Service Upgrade Open

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] Gwangju Metropolitan Rapid Transit Corporation (President Yoon Jinbo) announced on the 21st that it has launched the upgraded chatbot service using artificial intelligence technology called ‘AI SsingaBot’ to provide optimal customer service.
AI SsingaBot is a digital consultation channel that allows users to resolve inquiries about Gwangju Metropolitan Rapid Transit anytime and anywhere via smartphone.
It can be accessed by adding ‘Gwangju Metropolitan Rapid Transit Corporation’ as a friend on KakaoTalk.
Users can either type desired keywords directly into the chat window or find necessary information through the usage guide button.
To launch SsingaBot, the corporation built foundational data based on big data including 10,000 customer feedback cases, then adopted a machine learning system to improve answer accuracy and enhance two-way communication.
SsingaBot primarily provides guidance on frequently asked topics such as train usage information, lost and found, and convenience facility guidance.
It also offers customer-tailored convenience features using APIs, such as real-time bus transfer information by exit and train schedule information by station, which is expected to further increase citizen satisfaction.
The corporation will also hold an ‘AI SsingaBot Opening Event’ until the 5th of next month.
Citizens wishing to participate can add the corporation’s KakaoTalk as a friend, capture the chatbot execution screen, and post it as a comment on the corporation’s blog event post. Among participants, 20 people will be randomly selected to receive coffee gift certificates.
