Damyang-gun Introduces QR Payment System for Damyang Sarang Gift Certificates
Operation of Supporters to Enable Payment Without Cards or Paper Gift Certificates
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Chunsu] Damyang-gun, Jeollanam-do announced on the 21st that it has launched the mobile Damyang Sarang Gift Certificate with a QR payment system.
Until now, the Damyang Sarang Gift Certificate was available as a paper certificate and a card-type certificate that could be paid with a card linked to an account charged with a certain amount. However, with the introduction of QR payment, it is expected to become more convenient as payment can be made without carrying a card.
To promote the activation of the mobile system service, the county will operate special supporters together with the Korea Minting and Security Printing Corporation until the end of this month to promote the benefits of the Damyang Sarang mobile gift certificate and directly guide the installation and usage of the QR kit.
The mobile gift certificate can be purchased through the local gift certificate application ‘Chak’, and merchants can apply by bringing the required documents to the Eup/Myeon office or the Pulppuri Economy Division.
