Hanyang Wins Seongnam Bokjeong 1 Public Construction Project Worth 111.7 Billion KRW
[Asia Economy Reporter Hwang Seoyul] Hanyang has succeeded in securing its first public construction contract of the year. On the 21st, Hanyang announced that the Hanyang consortium, in which it holds a 70% stake, was selected as the final contractor for the "Seongnam Bokjeong1 A-2BL and A-3BL Apartment Construction Project Section 2" commissioned by Korea Land & Housing Corporation (LH).
This project involves the construction of 702 public sale and Happy Housing units along with ancillary welfare facilities in Bokjeong-dong and Changgok-dong, Sujeong-gu, Seongnam-si, Gyeonggi Province, with a total construction cost of 111.7 billion KRW. The A-2BL (total floor area 31,992㎡) will consist of 387 units in 7 buildings, with two types of exclusive areas: 46㎡ and 55㎡. The A-3BL (total floor area 25,260㎡) will consist of 315 units in 6 buildings, all with a single exclusive area of 55㎡.

The project site is adjacent to Wirye New Town and is located a 5-minute walk from Namwirye Station on Subway Line 8. It offers easy access to nearby metropolitan areas via the Seoul Ring Expressway and Bundang-Suseo Urban Expressway. It shares a living zone with Songpa-gu, Seoul, and Wirye New Town, and is also close to Bokjeong Elementary School, Bokjeong High School, and Gachon University Global Campus.
