Improving Labor Conditions and Work Environment Together... Gijang-gun Signs Collective Agreement with Public Officials Union
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] On the 20th, Busan Gijang-gun and the National Public Officials Labor Union Gijang-gun Branch signed the ‘2022 Collective Agreement’ in the county office briefing room to improve labor conditions and working environment.
The collective agreement was signed after a total of four main and working-level negotiations following the submission of the public officials union’s demands last month.
The signed collective agreement consists of a total of 11 pages, 68 articles in the main text, and 8 supplementary provisions, including ▲ implementation of lunch break leave system ▲ annual support for health check-up expenses for those aged 40 and over ▲ enrollment in comprehensive administrative liability insurance, aiming to improve employees’ labor conditions and welfare.
Oh Gyu-seok, head of Gijang-gun, said, “I sincerely thank the Gijang-gun branch for their understanding and cooperation with the county administration,” and added, “I hope that mutual growth, understanding, and cooperation between labor and management will continue.”
