Cooperation for the Promotion of Korean Language and Culture Education Abroad
The Sejong Institute Foundation announced on the 20th that it has signed a business agreement with the Korea Foundation to actively respond to the demand for Korean language and culture overseas. This business agreement was promoted to revitalize the sustainable dissemination of Korean language and culture abroad. The main contents include △ mutual cooperation and support for overseas Korean language and culture education △ collaboration to enhance the quality of overseas Korean language dissemination △ exchange and support of content related to Korean language and culture dissemination △ promotional cooperation to promote Korean language and culture.
Taking this agreement as an opportunity, the two organizations plan to contribute to the global spread of Korean language and culture by sharing materials related to overseas Korean language and culture education and collaborating based on local demand in the future.
Lee Geun, Chairman of the Korea Foundation, said, “At a time when international interest in Korea is high, we hope that the two institutions, which have taken the lead in spreading the Korean language, can contribute to expanding overseas Korean-affiliated personnel through joint cooperation to expand overseas Korean language education.”
