According to the Gwangju Western Fire Station on the 19th, a fire occurred in a one-person small electric vehicle on a road in Sangmu District, Chipyeong-dong, Seo-gu, around 9:52 p.m. that day.
As a result of the accident, the vehicle was burned to the point where its internal shape was unrecognizable.
Fortunately, there were no casualties, and the scale of property damage is currently under investigation.
At the accident site, 39 firefighters and 16 fire trucks were deployed.
The road was temporarily closed but has since been reopened after the fire vehicle was towed away.
The driver noticed the fire near the rear wheel, evacuated on their own, and then reported it to 119.
The fire authorities are investigating the exact cause of the accident.
