LG Electronics Launches Premium Massage Chair 'Healing Me Tahiti'
Enhanced Massage Performance and Convenient Customizable Features
LG Electronics launched a new premium massage chair on the 17th, offering a differentiated customer experience with enhanced massage performance and convenient customized features.
The 'LG Healing Me Tahiti (model: MX70B)' features massage balls that move in six directions?up, down, left, right, forward, and backward?delivering a three-dimensional massage with seven hand motions similar to hand massage techniques such as kneading, acupressure, and tapping. LG Electronics ergonomically designed the new product to fit the standard Korean body type, allowing customers to receive massages in a comfortable posture.
A new customer-customized massage course called ‘My Course’ has also been added. Customers can set massage areas, intensity, speed, and more according to their preferences, and by recognizing fingerprints, they can use their saved customized courses. Fingerprint recognition can store up to six users.
The new product is part of LG UP Appliances’ massage chair lineup and is equipped with wireless internet. LG Electronics plans to continuously provide upgrades through the LG ThinQ app’s ‘UP Appliances Center,’ allowing additional massage courses and new features to be added in the future.
Customers can adjust massage courses or intensity using voice commands while using the massage chair. For example, after saying “Hi LG!”, customers can say massage courses like “fatigue recovery” or “office worker,” or specify massage intensity such as “strong full-body massage” or “light foot sole massage,” and the chair will operate accordingly.
LG Electronics designed the new product to be low-noise so customers can fully focus on the massage and relax their minds. The quiet course operates at about 34 decibels (dB), which is quieter than a quiet library. The chair also features a heated seat that warms the back and waist, and Bluetooth speakers so customers can listen to music while receiving a massage.
The price of the LG Healing Me Tahiti is 4.6 million KRW based on the shipment price. For rental use, it is available at 70,900 KRW per month on a 6-year contract. When renting, a Care Solution manager visits annually to thoroughly maintain the product and replace the leather as needed.
