[Asia Economy (Yongin) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] Yongin City in Gyeonggi Province will provide the 'Temporary Emergency Living Support Fund' to low-income households starting from the 24th.
The Temporary Emergency Living Support Fund is a government initiative aimed at alleviating the financial burden on low-income households caused by the rapid price increases during the COVID-19 period.
Following government guidelines, Yongin City will provide differentiated payments of up to 1 million KRW to approximately 15,000 households (based on a family of four), including National Basic Livelihood Security recipients and legally designated near-poverty groups within the city.
The payments will be made through Yongin Pay at the Eup, Myeon, and Dong administrative welfare centers by August 1. The usage period extends until December 31.
