Husband Killed After Dispute Over Economic Issues
[Asia Economy Reporter Jang Sehee] A woman in her 20s who surrendered to the police after killing her husband in his 40s with a weapon over financial disputes has been handed over to the prosecution in custody.
On the 15th, the Suseo Police Station in Seoul announced that they had sent Ms. A, in her 20s, to prosecution on charges of murder that morning.
Ms. A is accused of wielding a weapon and killing her husband, Mr. B, at their residence in Yeoksam-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, around 5 a.m. on the 9th.
After killing her husband, Ms. A surrendered to the Gangnam Police Station in Seoul at around 12:50 p.m. The police transferred the case to the Suseo Police Station, which has jurisdiction over the residence, after an on-site investigation. During the police investigation, Ms. A stated that she killed Mr. B after getting drunk and arguing over financial issues such as living expenses support.
