Saewool Nuclear Power Headquarters has decided to restart the 'Movie Screening in Ulju Area with Saewool Nuclear Power Headquarters' from June.
The free movie screenings, which were popular for providing cultural appreciation opportunities to residents of Ulju, Ulsan, were suspended for over two years starting in 2020 due to COVID-19, but have been resumed as social distancing measures have eased.
On the 15th, Saewool Nuclear Power will screen the movie “The Mathematician in the Strange Country” for free three times at Onyang Cultural Welfare Center in Onyang-eup, Ulju-gun, at 12 PM, 3 PM, and 6 PM.
This touching film depicts the story of a North Korean defector genius mathematician who hides his identity and works as a school security guard, meeting a student who has given up on math. Actor Choi Min-sik stars in the lead role.
Saewool Nuclear Power plans to also screen free movies at the Western Youth Training Center in Samnam-eup, Ulju-gun, and aims to discover various promotional items for practicing ESG management to communicate with the local community.
