KOTRA, Smart Farm Cooperation with Agricultural Powerhouse Netherlands
KOTRA to Host 'Korea-Netherlands Smart Farm Cooperation Webinar' on the 15th of This Month
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Sun-mi] KOTRA announced on the 15th that it will hold the "Korea-Netherlands Smart Farm Cooperation Webinar" in collaboration with the Embassy of the Netherlands in Korea, linked to the global agricultural exhibition "GreenTech Amsterdam."
Despite its relatively small land area, the Netherlands has become the world's second-largest agricultural food exporter. To maximize productivity, it has developed smart agriculture early on and currently possesses world-class technology.
Recently, the demand for digital transformation has been continuously increasing in the global agricultural market, drawing more attention to the agricultural sector. Accordingly, KOTRA has organized this event to strengthen cooperation with the agricultural powerhouse Netherlands, enabling Korean agricultural companies to expand their domestic market while successfully entering the global market.
In Part 1 of the webinar, Korea's Rural Development Administration and the Netherlands' Wageningen University will introduce the smart farm promotion trends in Korea and the Netherlands, respectively. In Part 2, GreenEco, Smart Farm Center, and the Embassy of the Netherlands in Korea will present on the development plans for Korea's smart farm industry and directions for cooperation with the Netherlands.
Meanwhile, KOTRA Amsterdam Trade Center will hold the "Korea-Europe Smart Farm Cooperation Online Consultation" until the 24th, providing business opportunities between about 10 Korean companies and European companies alongside the webinar.
