View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chun-han] Homeplus announced on the 13th that it will exclusively sell three types of 'Korean Food Meal Kits' developed by OB Beer’s Hanmac and signature menus from hot place restaurants.
This product was developed as part of a campaign in which OB Beer selected representative restaurants where customers can enjoy the combination of Korean food and Hanmac, carried out through collaboration between the two companies. Homeplus developed meal kits that allow easy preparation at home of signature menus from three places: Matdon, Aewol Sikdang, and Wonjo Sinsa Yang Gopchang.
It is notable that the restaurant owners directly participated in the development process, so the actual recipes from these restaurants are faithfully incorporated. Additionally, OB Beer’s Hanmac plans to return a portion of the profits to the respective stores to support mutual growth with the restaurant owners. Homeplus will offer a 20-30% discount on these meal kits when purchased together with Hanmac until the 29th of this month.
A Homeplus representative said, “Through collaboration with OB Beer’s Hanmac, we visited a total of 20 hip mac places and held discussions, which led to the development and launch of the Korean Food Meal Kits. Besides these three Korean Food Meal Kits, we plan to sequentially introduce meal kits of signature menus from other popular restaurants.”
