Gyeonggawon Launches 'AI Technology Demonstration Support' Project at Pangyo Techno Valley
[Asia Economy (Suwon) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] The Gyeonggi-do Economic Science Promotion Agency is recruiting companies to participate in the 'AI (Artificial Intelligence) Technology Demonstration Testbed Opportunity Provision Type Demonstration Support Project.'
This project supports companies to test, certify, and evaluate their AI technologies in real urban environments by utilizing the infrastructure established in Seongnam Pangyo Techno Valley, and allows the general public to directly participate and experience AI technology.
This year, the project will be divided into funding-supported and non-funding-supported demonstration projects. The funding-supported demonstration project provides free use of the testbed infrastructure, free consulting for performance evaluation and certification, and a support fund of 50 million KRW per project. The agency plans to recruit a total of 10 demonstration companies for this purpose.
The non-funding-supported demonstration project allows companies to use the testbed infrastructure (HW/SW) to conduct learning and testing of their AI technologies, and receive performance evaluation and certification from the Korea Construction Living Environment Test & Research Institute.
Eligible applicants are domestic small, medium, and large enterprises capable of AI technology demonstration in the fields of mobility, daily convenience, and disaster safety, and can participate either individually or as a consortium.
